A note from Sarah:
Shortly after I received my spiritual calling to resign my position as a high school principal and set out on an obedient risk, I was given the message to tether to Jessica Johnson in sharing her story. It was clear to me as she kept coming up in my journal, and we spoke of it a handful of times. When the idea for the In AWE Podcast came to me, I sent her excited and nervous messages on Voxer, hoping she would agree to share her story widely to reach masses. Words are pithy to express how deeply her willingness to share on this first episode impacts me and aligns so clearly to the work that I am to be doing in this season. What you are not able to see as you listen is the emotion and strength it took for Jessica to dive back into some of this pain, and I continue to be inspired by the dignity and strength with which she carries herself. It is with great joy that I bring this piece of Jessica to the world. May you hear the mission in her message.
Blessings,
Sarah
