Episode 87: In AWE of Dana Goodier-Amplifiers Series
Dana Goodier is currently a school administrator with 20 years of experience in education. She spent most of her career teaching World Languages and English. She completed her doctorate degree (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership in March 2020. For her capstone, she researched reasons parents were opting their students out of high-stakes testing at middle schools and how that affected the district accreditation rating. Building off of her own growth as a teacher, she actively provides educators with professional development on techniques to minimize off-task behavior and to increase time on task. Dana is the host of the new podcast “Out of the Trenches”, which features educators who have been in the trenches and have managed to crawl out.
In this episode, Dana shares her experiences leading school during this pandemic, her journey into Podcasting, and we discuss some of the awesome guests she has amplified. If you have been considering starting your own podcast, maybe Dana’s story will inspire you. I am honored to amplify for you Dana Goodier’s Amplifier Story.
