Episode 84: In AWE of Pawan (Pav) Wander–Amplifiers Series
Pawan (Pav) Wander is an elementary school teacher from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has taught middle school for 15 years and now is beginning her journey teaching primary grades this coming year. Pav makes up half of the hosting team of The Staffroom Podcast, and The Drive on VoicEd Radio. She and Chey Cheney have also been involved in several other projects involving Education, including encouraging educators to “Rediscover their Voice,” and begin archiving their thoughts and feelings about education. Pav loves to work out, picnic with her two boys, listen to lots of books, and she recently took up running!
In this episode, we get to hear about how Pav got started amplifying her voice in the podcast and radio show she cohosts as well as more about her story as an educator, mom, and person. She shares about her upcoming year and the challenges and joys of change as well as the benefit of what building a community can do after all the hard work.
