Tara Desiderio has been an educator for twenty years & a school leader for twelve of those years. She is passionate about her students/team & enjoys leading others through their strengths. Her passion for creating positive school culture & embracing a growth mindset is at the heart of all she does. Tara co-moderates #CultureEd, a chat dedicated to connecting educators and focusing on building positive school cultures through shared community. In this episode, Tara shares her experiences as a school leader during “normal times’ as well as an insight into what it is like to lead a school remotely and remain connected during a pandemic and school closures. I admire how she continuously circles the conversation back to maintaining a healthy and positive outlook for ourselves and those we serve.
