A Note from Sarah:
While working with Dawn as the principal in the school in which she currently serves, I learned such a great deal about the daily grace it takes for Dawn to serve well in her role. Over the course of the four years we worked together, it never failed to amaze me each time she peeled away a layer of her story. I learned from her to see the people we work with clearly, notice them as people, and celebrate the gifts we have in the opportunity to work with others who teach us in their actions. Her faithful light was a beacon for me during some incredibly challenging chapters in my personal and professional life. Sharing her story purposes me in my own calling, and I am grateful not only for the impact she has had on my life but for the light she shines daily to others.
Amplifying Dawn’s story is one affirmation of why I personally was placed alongside her in the role I served in that learning community. Her story is one that masses are meant to hear. Enjoy. Listen carefully, and know that this message was meant for your ears and hearts.
