Geri Parscale spent 28 years in education and has worked as a classroom teacher, principal, professional development director, and finally deputy superintendent. Her mode of operation was always the same: learning for all kids. Her most important role is that of Mom to two great sons, David and Nicholas.

Friends, I am so deeply honored that I got to have this open conversation with a woman who has lived a life of beautiful service and continues to do so in such stunning ways. I love her very practical insight into what it takes to serve a child to live each day with hope, purpose, and positivity in the midst of a terrible diagnosis.
