Episode 21: In AWE of Barbara Gruener-Motherhood Series
Veteran school counselor Barbara Gruener had the pleasure of working with kids from every age and stage, preK – 12th, during her 34 years in public education. Author of the blog The Corner on Character and the book What’s Under Your Cape? SUPERHEROES of the Character Kind, Barbara enjoys positively influencing change through her inspirational keynotes and interactive workshops. When she’s not working, you can bet Barbara is knitting, baking, writing, reading, walking, gardening, napping, or spending time with her husband and their three children.
Wonderfully, AWE is Barbara’s one word for 2019 and through her story, we learn how critical it is to be a model even in our most challenging times, to see where we can be grateful, learn to lean on others to receive their service in our times of struggle, and other incredible wisdom golden nuggets.
